About the position

The Lead Product Marketing Manager for business devices at AT&T is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of devices from initial proposal to end of life. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to execute product launches, develop marketing strategies, and enhance customer experiences. The manager will also analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy to deliver the best portfolio of devices.
  • Co-develop product strategy with OEM partners, including technologies, features, and pricing.
  • Craft and implement user experience requirements with stakeholders and OEMs.
  • Manage product lifecycle from RFP award to end of life, tracking quality metrics and sales performance.
  • Evaluate promotional offers, distribution channels, and pricing to achieve business goals.
  • Conduct market analysis using customer feedback and competitive analysis to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Develop and review product marketing content with internal teams and OEM partners.
  • Collaborate with OEMs to meet AT&T product and service requirements.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in product management in telecommunications, technology, or consumer electronics-related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with internal cross-functional teams in a program/project management capacity.
  • Self-starter with excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.
  • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Proven ability to translate ideas and vision into product definition and requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with OEM or a technology start-up in a product management/product marketing capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of smartphone and mobile broadband platforms.
  • Experience managing partners and vendors including marketing development funds.
  • Experience regularly presenting in front of large audiences and executives.
  • Product Management/Product Marketing certifications.
