About the position

The Lead Product Operations Analyst at DocuSign plays a pivotal role in bridging teams across various functions to deliver exceptional products to customers. This position requires a strategic thinker who can efficiently align cross-functional collaborators and has a strong business acumen. The analyst will develop scalable frameworks that support the product lifecycle, leveraging firsthand product experience to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices that connect operating lines across functions. This role is essential in fostering seamless collaboration among teams, ensuring that the product development process is efficient and effective. In addition to developing frameworks, the Lead Product Operations Analyst will contribute to business reviews and decision-making forums, providing a neutral perspective based on established scorecards and governance frameworks. The analyst will drive key business and product decisions among senior leadership teams at critical moments in the product lifecycle, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. This position also involves delivering impactful presentations and communications that enhance understanding and alignment on objectives across various functions. The analyst will be responsible for identifying complex problems within the organization and leading programs and processes to address them. This includes influencing and advising team members and executive management to drive programs to completion. Establishing and leading operating processes and tools for effective organizational management is also a key responsibility. The Lead Product Operations Analyst will champion quick decision-making and hold themselves and their team accountable for achieving goals, ultimately playing a critical role in getting DocuSign's products into the hands of customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable frameworks to support the product lifecycle, identifying areas for improvement and driving implementation of best practices.
  • Contribute to business reviews and decision-making forums, providing a neutral perspective based on scorecards and frameworks.
  • Drive key business and product decisions among senior leadership teams at pivotal moments in the product lifecycle.
  • Deliver influential presentations and communications to enhance functional and cross-functional understanding and alignment.
  • Drive written and verbal communications around the product lifecycle and articulate decisions needed and path forward clearly.
  • Identify complex problems across the organization and define/lead programs and processes to solve them.
  • Influence and advise team members and executive management to drive programs to completion.
  • Establish and lead operating processes and tools for effective organizational management.
  • Champion quick decision-making and hold self and team members accountable for reaching goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years minimum related business experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in management consulting, product management and strategy, analytics, or product operations
  • Experience working closely and influencing product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Data Analytics or related field
  • Experience working with data visualization tools including Tableau
  • Business experience related to strategy, operations or analytics
  • Ability to influence without authority and tell a story based on data
  • A Six Sigma 'Black Belt' and applies this ideology to ongoing business priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Quickly and positively adaptable to changing conditions.
