About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Product Managers to help drive, support, and facilitate the bank's Wires Transformation. This role is crucial for individuals who possess extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking and Treasury Management, along with the ability to gather and analyze requirements effectively. The Lead Product Managers will be responsible for driving a multi-year roadmap to completion, ensuring that product outcomes and strategies align with the future vision of the team. These individuals will lead and align cross-functional partners, taking charge of key business and customer metrics, as well as the related processes and policies, including risk and controls. In this position, you will lead complex initiatives, which include establishing marketing programs for new products or enhancements. You will conduct market research and perform results-oriented analysis for major products and services, reviewing and analyzing complex major product lines and services. Additionally, you will implement change delivery solutions for the portfolio's technology process work, which may range from low to moderate complexity. Your role will require making decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations, considering global market dynamics, trends, and regulatory impacts. You will oversee risk management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives, collaborating and consulting with managers, stakeholders, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery teams to resolve issues and achieve project goals. Furthermore, you will lead projects and teams, serving as a mentor to less experienced staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex initiatives including establishing marketing programs for new products or enhancements
  • Conduct market research and market results-oriented analysis for major products and services
  • Review and analyze complex major product lines and services

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of Wires or Payments product management experience within banking or financial services
  • Analytic and strategy experience to evaluate business opportunities and advocate for investments
  • Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed organization working with multiple internal teams
  • Payment Transformation experience (ACH, FedNow, MTS/SWIFT, CHIPS)
  • Correspondent Banking
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements
  • ISO 20022 Transformation and Global Payments Innovation (gpi) is a big plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels
  • Experience with Banking or Financial Services industry and vendor/provider ecosystem
