About the position

As the Lead Product Owner (PO) for Clinical Operations at CenterWell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology products within our integrated care delivery system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the creation of maximum value for our customers by championing the product, facilitating product and feature decisions, and owning accountability for product content and releases. You will serve as the crucial liaison between the agile team, which includes organizational change management experts and configuration specialists, and various stakeholders such as Business Owners and Product Management. Your role will involve continuously working with the team to define and drive the product vision, establish increment and sprint goals, and prioritize the team's backlog. The primary focus of this position will be on products related to physicians and clinical providers' workflows in digital products within the PCO, including two leading Electronic Medical Records vendors and related technology/features. You will also be responsible for business process and change management for care delivery support team members, as well as the strategic planning and maintenance of supporting system infrastructure and business support processes. In collaboration with Product Management, you will lead a team of configuration specialists to align vended solutions with business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, marketing, sales, and peers in Clinical and Center Operations Product roles, to ensure a coordinated and successful product launch. Your efforts will focus on creating value for both customers and the organization while mitigating risks. During product and feature discovery, you will validate hypotheses through continuous testing and serve as the Product Owner for digital engagement solutions. You will lead workgroups and advise on the development of product management methods and techniques, proactively addressing problems and making recommendations to improve processes while supporting change implementation. You will work with Product Management to establish a product/feature roadmap and goals that achieve the highest customer value while aligning with other products in the Portfolio Roadmap. This includes managing dependencies and collaborating with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align the product roadmap with strategic goals. You will also be responsible for creating Release Plans, managing releases, and recommending product release timing. In coordination with the Agile team, you will establish sprint goals, prepare user stories with Acceptance Criteria, and attend various Agile ceremonies to clarify stories and gather stakeholder feedback. Your role will require you to mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint and release goals and be available to the team on short notice to clarify any questions.
