About The Position

As a Product Manager at Caterpillar Inc., you will be responsible for creating the strategy and roadmap for GenAI solutions, focusing on AI Assistant and AI-generated translations. This role involves educating stakeholders about the potential of AI technology, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with various teams to enhance Cat Digital offerings. You will also represent the organization in AI governance bodies and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• High level of experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product
• Highly effective communication skills with understanding of communication concepts
• Extensive experience in business analysis and identifying business needs
• Extensive experience in decision-making processes and critical thinking
• Typically 7+ years of professional experience
• Experience in software engineering, analytics, and artificial intelligence
• Extensive experience as a Product Manager/Owner managing multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Maximize the value of the product and the work of the development team
• Act as Product Manager for the AI Assistant and other integrated AI products
• Plan, create road maps, and develop strategy for the AI Assistant
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog according to business value
• Track adoption, engagement, and business value associated with the product
• Raise awareness among business partners about the potential of AI technology
• Communicate Product Backlog priorities to the team
• Make key decisions regarding product features
• Convey product vision to the team
• Define acceptance criteria for product features
• Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization
• Decide on release dates and content
• Interface and engage with customers
• Communicate releases to stakeholders and customers
• Perform other job duties as assigned by management
