About the position

The Lead Product Owner at Fifth Third Bank is responsible for driving product strategy and execution within targeted lines of business. This role involves collaborating with various teams to define product needs, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery through Agile methodologies. The Product Owner will lead cross-functional teams, inspire innovation, and maintain a focus on customer outcomes while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Lines of Business teams, business functions, and IT teams to define product needs and opportunities.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and analytics partners to prioritize and deliver new features in Agile development.
• Guide cross-functional product teams in implementing product roadmap deliverables and capabilities.
• Lead a continuous prioritization process to maximize value and mitigate risks.
• Drive outcomes in support of regulatory compliance, revenue growth, and process optimization.
• Stay informed on new technologies to introduce innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Act as a change agent for technologies and processes, leveraging Agile practices for optimization.
• Ensure accountability for risk management and adherence to governance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Five years of related experience.
• Demonstrated success in strategic development and program execution.
• Experience working in Agile development preferred.
• Solid product management background preferred.
• Strong consultative and communication skills to influence all levels of the organization.
• Business acumen and understanding of business processes related to products and customers.
• Inclusive leadership skills to foster creative thinking and innovation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and solve complex problems.
• Strong analytical skills to present simple solutions from complex data.
