About The Position

The Lead Production Technician plays a crucial role within the Formulation Team, responsible for performing formulation preparation and process activities in a cGMP environment. This position involves managing production activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting regulatory inspections. The technician will also lead batch processing and maintain inventory management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of cGMP or Pharmaceutical experience.
• Associate's degree with 3+ years of cGMP or Pharmaceutical experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of cGMP or Pharmaceutical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP transactions including ordering supplies, inventory management, and processing orders.
• Act as a manager/designee and perform all associated functions.
• Prepare formulation skids (CIP/SIP) and operate all critical processes in formulation.
• Assume a lead role in batch processing as required.
• Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping tasks, including chart changes and pressure checks.
• Monitor daily release, environmental conditions, and perform WFI/CS sampling.
• Write deviation investigations, CAPA, and internal audits, and own action items for closure.
• Support regulatory inspections and projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Complete batch record transcription and prepare records for manager review.
• Manage retro-release of buffers and control inventory and usage.
