About the position

The Lead Project Manager for Financial Planning and Accounting is responsible for managing complex, multi-year projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high client satisfaction standards. The position requires a strong focus on project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication, particularly with senior management and client executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage highly complex, broad, and/or multi-year projects end-to-end to deliver business outcomes.
• Develop detailed, robust, high-quality project plans including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc.
• Recognize the impact of scope changes and adjust project plans accordingly.
• Act as the first responder to project risks and recommend solutions.
• Interface regularly with internal senior management and client executive level personnel.
• Negotiate resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
• Explore intricate solutions to complex business requirements for projects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in project functionality and planning tools.
• Delegate work to and guide professional and support staff, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Review, mentor, and coach lower level professional and support staff.

Requirements
