About the position

The Lead Project Manager at Nasdaq Technology is responsible for driving the execution of central initiatives across the Nasdaq Market Technology portfolio. This role involves managing complex technical systems and delivering solutions to clients in a dynamic, international environment. The position requires strong project management skills, stakeholder interaction, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams globally to deliver critical solutions and services.
  • Manage essential project management activities and stakeholder interactions.
  • Conduct overall project planning and follow-up with sales representatives and customer project managers.
  • Report progress and ensure quality assurance to internal and external steering committees.
  • Create and follow up on project budgets and manage risks with mitigation actions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years in Technology & Project Management roles.
  • Experience in Project Management, Test Management, or Technical Account Management with complex systems.
  • Proven track record of managing large complex delivery projects from budgeting to customer acceptance.
  • Strong motivation and ability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience leading other Project Managers and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with external clients and internal customers.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development lifecycle and Financial Technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with both agile and traditional Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Background as a developer, Business Analyst, or Solution Architect.
  • Experience managing agile projects and serving as a Scrum Master.
