About the position
The Lead Project Manager at Rang Technologies Inc. is responsible for managing highly complex, multi-year projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet business outcomes, are delivered on time, and stay within budget. This role requires the development of detailed project plans and the ability to adapt to changes in project scope while maintaining high client satisfaction. The Lead Project Manager will also act as a key liaison between senior management and client executives, addressing risks and recommending solutions as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Manage highly complex, broad, and/or multi-year projects end-to-end.
- Develop detailed, robust, high-quality project plans including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Recognize the impact of scope changes and adjust project plans accordingly.
- Act as the first responder to project risks and recommend solutions.
- Interface regularly with internal senior management and client executive personnel.
- Negotiate resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
- Explore intricate solutions to complex business requirements for projects.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in project functionality and planning tools.
- Delegate work to and guide professional and support staff, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Review, mentor, and coach lower-level professional and support staff.
Requirements
- 7 years of project management experience.
- 7 years of workflow management experience.
- 7 years of budgeting experience.
- 7 years of experience in financial services.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Ability to commute to Urbandale, IA.
- Ability to relocate to Urbandale, IA before starting work.
