About the position

The Lead Project / Program Manager at Cox Communications is responsible for designing and executing readiness efforts to prepare the Sales & Service organization for complex changes in business processes, policies, pricing, products, and tools. This role involves evaluating the impacts of these changes on front-line representatives and leaders, and developing plans to minimize disruptions while maximizing adoption rates. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective training and communication strategies are in place, monitors the success of transitions, and implements reinforcement activities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project leadership to understand business objectives impacting Sales & Service initiatives.
  • Conduct assessments of impacts on Sales & Service front-line and leaders due to changes in processes, policies, pricing, products, and tools.
  • Design and execute initiative-specific change readiness plans to minimize impact and maximize business outcomes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely development of training and communication content.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Support launch day and post-launch activities, developing corrective and reinforcement activities as necessary.
  • Collect and apply feedback from change readiness efforts to improve practices continuously.
  • Update Sales & Service leadership on project progress, milestones, and potential issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Care, Operations, or Product Management.
  • Understanding of change management basics, including impact assessment and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, Psychology, Communication, or Marketing.
  • Experience in Telecommunications.
  • Certification in PROSCI or CCMP and/or PMP.
