About the position

The Lead Purchasing Receiving Clerk at Hilton Waikoloa Village is responsible for overseeing the daily organization and leadership of the food warehouse, ensuring efficient operations and inventory management. This role involves planning, supervising food flow from receiving to delivery, and maintaining accurate inventory records, all while embodying Hilton's values of hospitality, integrity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist with daily organization and leadership of the food warehouse.
• Review banquet event orders for items and accuracy.
• Conduct semiannual inventory count process.
• Schedule team members and manage food purchasing as needed.
• Maintain food storeroom organization and daily operations.
• Supervise the flow of food from receiving to delivery at outlets.
• Identify and communicate shortages on inbound invoices to assure proper stock levels of items.
• Perform administrative work including maintenance of inventory master and associated item numbers within the procurement system.
• Assist with the delivery of food to outlets.
• Order food in the absence of the Food Buyer.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in food purchasing and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and vendors.
• Knowledge of food safety and storage practices.
