About the position

The Lead Python Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions in the financial modeling and research area. This role involves interacting with the finance team to gather requirements, ensuring code quality, and assisting customers in understanding and utilizing the application effectively. The position also includes operational execution of software solutions to monitor and control market and credit risks.

Responsibilities

• Interact with finance team and business side to collect the requirements.
• Design, develop and support software solution for the given requirements within the financial modeling and research area.
• Ensure new code and existing code updates meet standard technology development practices.
• Work with finance team and other developers to facilitate the reconciliation.
• Help customers to understand the result and to properly use the application.
• Assist in the operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and control of market and credit risks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python, Pandas and other popular Python libraries.
• Experience with Java.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest and junit.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Linux and Docker.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and git.
• Familiarity with using IDEs such as IntelliJ (for Java and/or Python).
• Proficiency in Excel.
