About the position

The Lead Python Programmer will be responsible for developing functional and appealing web-based applications, particularly within the financial industry. This role requires extensive experience in Python development, specifically in pre-trading platforms and AWS deployment. The position emphasizes collaboration with team members and stakeholders to establish best practices in web accessibility and usability standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional and appealing web-based applications based on web accessibility standards and usability.
• Establish best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Create conceptual diagrams, visual mockups, and manage detailed user interface specifications.
• Understand broad sets of use cases, building the right APIs and features to support them.
• Improve the testability, deployment, monitorability, and maintainability of the software.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience as a Python Developer.
• Prior experience in the financial industry is mandatory.
• Experience of working on Pre-Trading Platforms is required.
• Experience of deploying code on AWS is mandatory.
• Experience in Flask framework development is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
