About the position

The Lead QA Engineer at ADP is responsible for collaborating with the development team to design and execute product testing for cloud-based solutions, ensuring customer usability before deployment. This role involves advocating for changes to enhance the end-user experience, mentoring junior QA professionals, and managing testing processes within an agile environment. The position requires flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving, as testing may occur outside regular business hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team to gather details on features for product testing.
• Build and execute product testing for cloud-based solutions to determine customer usability before deployment.
• Create complex test scenarios using Playwright and other test automation frameworks, along with manual testing.
• Advocate for necessary changes to improve the end-user experience of products.
• Train and mentor junior-level QA professionals.
• Own the releases with product features and manage task division among the team.
• Identify and solve problems related to product testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience with manual and automation testing.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright (highly desired).
• Experience creating complex test scenarios.
