About the position

The Lead QA Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the organization, ensuring that software products meet the highest standards of quality before release. This role involves leading a team of QA engineers, developing testing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
• Maintain and enhance the QA process and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
