About the position

The Lead QA Engineer will be responsible for defining, programming, debugging, and modifying tests for software enhancements and new products, particularly in the logistics domain. This role requires a strong background in QA automation, backend Java development, and integration with distribution centers and warehouse management systems, specifically with Manhattan Associates WMoS. The position is a 12-month W2 contract based in Phoenix, Arizona, with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Define, program, debug, and modify tests for software enhancements and new products.
• Complete documentation for testing, installation, and maintenance.
• Lead the design and development of new capabilities in collaboration with Manhattan Associates.
• Work with multiple database tools like DB2, SQL, and Oracle.
• Design and develop scalable microservices using open-source Java frameworks such as Spring MVC/Web Flux and SpringBoot.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA/Automation exposure.
• Proficiency in Backend Java, Spring Microservices, and Kafka.
• Integration experience with Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems, specifically with Manhattan Associates WMoS.
• Experience in programming with Java, JavaEE, and JavaScript/React.
• Expertise in designing and developing scalable microservices.

Nice-to-haves

• Integration experience in Transportation Management systems, Manhattan Slotting, and Labor Management systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of business systems and technologies within the Logistics domain.
