About the position

The Lead QA Test Engineer will oversee a team of IT professionals in developing comprehensive test plans and schedules, ensuring the quality and functionality of software products. This role involves participating in the entire QA product lifecycle, from scoping and strategizing to executing various types of testing, including feature, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. The engineer will also be responsible for defect identification, debugging, and providing feedback to developers, while maintaining communication with management and stakeholders regarding project status.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT professionals to develop test plans, testing estimates, schedules, timelines, bug analytics/metrics, and mitigation plans.
• Participate in all aspects of the QA product lifecycle including scoping, strategizing, test case creation, and execution.
• Conduct feature, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Review technical requirements, test plans, and test case documentation.
• Identify and fix defects, research root causes, debug issues, and propose solutions.
• Hold technical collaboration meetings and provide periodical reviews on implementation status.
• Provide weekly reports on task plans to management and stakeholders.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Engineering, Computer Information System, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related field plus two years of experience in job offered, QA Analyst, Test Engineer, Software Engineer, Project Lead, or related work.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent plus five years of progressive experience in job offered, QA Analyst, Test Engineer, Software Engineer, Project Lead, or related work.
