About the position

The Lead QA Tester will play a dual role as both a tester and a product/project manager, responsible for ensuring quality assurance in software applications. This position involves extensive communication with stakeholders, managing workflows, performing testing, and documenting processes. The Lead QA Tester will also identify and eliminate dependencies while collaborating with various teams to facilitate effective communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a tester and product/project manager.
• Communicate with stakeholders and escalate blockers.
• Partner with multiple groups to assist with communication and workflows.
• Perform testing and prioritize tasks.
• Document processes and recognize dependencies to remove them.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Experienced in end to end testing of software applications.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience in large complex enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to communicate with the business, stakeholders, product, engineering, etc.
• Broad technical knowledge (app dev, cloud, testing, product/agile, etc.).
• Ability to act as a project manager/product owner while being responsible for testing.
• Experience performing end to end testing in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to write basic SQL.
• Understand microservices architecture, and have high level technical knowledge.
• Natural problem solver.
