About the position

The Lead, Quality and Compliance maintains and advances quality assurance and control processes within Telamon's Integration and Assembly Department. This role ensures compliance with company, client, and industry standards, conducts audits, inspects outgoing products, and serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on product design and build requirements. Additionally, the Lead, Quality and Compliance oversees Telamon's Installer Academy, developing and delivering training content while assessing participant competency.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts virtual and on-site audits of integration builds.
  • Perform physical inspections of UVN builds, first article builds, and new assembly builds.
  • Review engineering drawings and ensure project consistency.
  • Serve as primary technical advisor and quality auditor for customer projects.
  • Collaborate with client quality representatives to maintain best practices and address quality concerns.
  • Manage nonconformance tracking and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Promote continuous improvement opportunities using Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Verify equipment safety and procedural compliance, recommending improvements for efficiency and quality.
  • Oversees Telamon's Installer Academy, creating and implementing training content.
  • Conduct monthly quality training sessions.
  • Provide Asbestos Awareness training and support for UVN labeling processes.
  • Evaluate training participants and provide feedback.
  • Develop and maintain audit templates, inspection reports, and training documentation.
  • Prepare summaries and reports for management on quality metrics and findings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum four (4) years professional management experience in: Customer Service, Network Systems, or Project Management.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience as a Lead Installer, Quality Auditor, or Quality Manager.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. PC, LAN, Mac OS system and intranet.
  • Experience in ISO/TL 9000 certified operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with nonconformance reports and corrective action.
  • Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering or related field.
