About the position

The Lead React Developer will play a crucial role in the engineering team within Platform Solutions for a major financial services client in New York City. This position involves significant coding responsibilities, weekly production support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product and quality management teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with React and a strong development background, contributing to various assignments and ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality React applications.
• Collaborate with product and quality management teams for deployments and testing.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to enhance application performance and user experience.
• Contribute to the development of micro frontends and integration with GraphQL.

Requirements

• 7+ years of React Development experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Redux.
• Experience with GraphQL and micro frontends.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computational field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline).
• Experience in large enterprise environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Familiarity with Splunk, DataDog, and Jira.
