About the position
The Lead RWE and Epidemiology Scientist will oversee research projects focused on utilizing real-world data for drug discovery. This role involves translating research questions into study designs, leading cross-functional teams, and managing diverse data sets to enhance the drug development process through innovative methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee research projects from planning through execution.
- Translate research questions into study designs.
- Lead cross-functional teams in project execution.
- Work with diverse data sets, particularly real-world data such as EHRs.
- Utilize statistical analysis tools like Python/R for data analysis.
Requirements
- MPH/MS with 5+ years of experience or PhD with 3+ years of experience.
- Expertise in real-world data studies and statistical modeling.
- Strong communication and technical management skills.
- Experience leading epidemiologic projects from end-to-end.
- Experience in an external stakeholder-facing role.
