About the position

A premier client of mine is looking for a Lead Salesforce Administrator to join their team for a full-time opportunity. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through innovative CRM solutions and requires a strategic mindset to manage Salesforce platforms effectively. The Lead Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the Salesforce system capabilities in support of ComSol business needs, identifying new features for the application, and making recommendations to streamline and improve processes. In this position, you will manage, train, and develop staff while communicating performance standards and objectives. Conducting performance reviews, including salary adjustments, will be part of your responsibilities. You will also monitor team and individual performances to ensure optimum resource utilization and productivity. The role involves administering all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and safety, and managing multiple complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and internal/external resources successfully in a collaborative fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will perform design and estimating tasks for upcoming work orders and project requests, coordinate and plan in support of researching, installing, configuring, optimizing, testing, and deploying application software. You will develop and deploy lightning pages, scripts, process flows, data updates, and other technical tasks as needed. Evaluating and recommending new software and hardware for operational effectiveness will also be part of your duties, along with working with the Enterprise Application developer team to support the lifecycle of planning Salesforce upgrades and troubleshooting system problems. A solid understanding of CPQ and familiarity with Salesforce deployment strategies is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple, complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and internal/external resources successfully in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
  • Performs design and estimating tasks for upcoming work orders and project requests.
  • Manages Salesforce system capabilities in support of ComSol business needs, identifies new features for the application, and makes recommendations to streamline/improve processes.
  • Coordinates and plans in support of researching, installing, configuring, optimizing, testing, and deploying application software.
  • Develops and deploys lightning pages/scripts, process flows, data updates, and other technical tasks as needed.
  • Evaluates and recommends new software and hardware for operational effectiveness, including evaluating software and vendor credentials for major application replacement initiatives.
  • Works with the Enterprise Application developer team when necessary to help support the lifecycle of planning Salesforce upgrades and troubleshooting Salesforce system problems and the development of Salesforce solutions and/or integrations.
  • Understands CPQ and is familiar with Salesforce deployment strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or college degree in a marketing discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in a product management or marketing specialist role, preferably in a B2B services environment.
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience working in a complex direct marketing environment that is fast-paced and changing.
  • Experience in marketing channel testing, development, and management.
  • Strong experience with Software as a Service: Salesforce.com and Sales Cloud.
  • Ability to read and interpret Apex Classes/Appex Triggers.
