About the position

The position involves leading a global team in the design, development, launch, and support of Salesforce.com solutions. The role requires collaboration with business and IT leaders to create a comprehensive technical architecture, ensuring effective integration between Salesforce and other enterprise solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing conceptual design documents, managing customer communications, and providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team throughout the design, development, launch, and support of Salesforce.com solutions.
• Develop visually rich and professional conceptual design documents targeted to varying audiences of business and technical aptitude.
• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to drive the complete technical architecture including data flow and integration between Salesforce and other enterprise solutions.
• Offer creative ideas to meet business requirements, reducing customizations and increasing automation.
• Architect and document solution design of Salesforce solutions.
• Transition solution designs to development resources responsible for building the solutions.
• Provide industry-leading technical expertise with Salesforce.
• Help resolve and mitigate technical/architecture issues and risks as they arise.
• Develop detailed configuration specifications documentation for use by the technical team.
• Manage customer communications, conflicts, and negotiations related to overall architecture design.
• Develop Proof of Concept for specific architecture/integration concepts.
• Guide customers through solution deployment.
• Assist technical leads in performing hands-on solution design, solution architecture, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required.
• Plan and monitor technical consideration activities of the project.
• Perform health checks for each org and assess orgs.
• Perform analysis of org configuration, customizations, and security.
• Prepare Salesforce Config workbook detailing customizations and configurations of the org.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in successful software project implementations related to CRM/Service Cloud business scenarios.
• 6+ years of experience working within the Salesforce platform in senior technical lead/architecture roles.
• Experience working on a minimum of 3 Salesforce projects.
• Strong expertise in Lightning/Communities, APEX, hands-on coding, Flows, Triggers, Migration Tool, APIs, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Templates, and Web Services.
