About the position

The Lead, SAP Master Data Governance position at MicroVention, Inc. is responsible for supporting and enhancing the corporate ERP system and other critical business applications through Master Data Governance. This role serves as the primary liaison between technical and business partners, ensuring data integrity and compliance while managing core Master Data objects such as Material, Customer, and Vendor. The position involves collaboration across various functions to implement new processes and improve existing ones, as well as providing guidance to Data Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and improve the corporate ERP system and critical business software applications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Master Data Governance efforts and collaboration with the TAH/TC Global Data Governance team.
  • Manage core Master Data objects to ensure data integrity across the ERP system and other applications.
  • Perform data cleansing, audits, and validation to ensure compliance with master data rules and procedures.
  • Analyze, review, and approve requests to create or change Master Data objects for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage mass data loads and act as a single point of contact for these efforts.
  • Provide guidance to Data Specialists to ensure timely and accurate Master Data activities.
  • Collaborate with various functions to create and implement new or revised processes affecting Master Data.
  • Define requirements for new or improved business reporting tools related to Master Data.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on Master Data related systems problems and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a financial discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with key software systems (ERP) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Capable of strategic and tactical engagement.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
