Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Scrum Master, experienced in Kanban and Scrum, to serve a critical role in our transforming organization. In this position, you will lead, grow, coach, and support Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads by actively advocating for and coaching growth in Agile capabilities and mindset. Your role will involve coaching the Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads in enterprise-aligned agility practices and focusing on continuous improvement while delivering value in a large-scale agile transformation. You will also facilitate productivity by identifying and assisting in removing impediments that may obstruct the Scrum Master's or Kanban Lead's goals. Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice, helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community. As a Lead Scrum Master, you will manage and develop Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity. You will guide the teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint. Your responsibilities will include optimizing scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance, overseeing systemic impediments to team agility, and guiding the teams on methods to escalate. You will deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met. Additionally, you will partner with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards, collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the teams, and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness. In this role, you will also collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, interact with internal customers, and receive direction from leaders while exercising independent judgment. You will develop the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, and train other Scrum Masters while serving as a mentor to less experienced staff.
