About the position
The Lead Security Officer at Turfway Park LLC is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for patrons, employees, and company assets during the 2nd shift. This role involves strategic planning and oversight of security operations, as well as direct interaction with staff and patrons to address safety concerns and incidents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Delegate duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
- Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
- Answer incoming calls to the facility and direct calls or answer patron questions.
- Operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that require a valid Driver's License.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid Racing License.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
