About the position

The Lead Server at Jeremiah's Italian Ice plays a crucial role in representing the brand and ensuring exceptional customer service. This part-time position involves leading shifts, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining a high standard of service for guests. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store, handling cash, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take guests' orders with a friendly smile.
  • Exhibit a desire to work on a team and embrace a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain respectful relationships with co-workers, refraining from gossip.
  • Create flavorful experiences for each guest according to five-star service.
  • Answer questions accurately and politely.
  • Serve all guests efficiently while maintaining superior five-star service.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift huddles (Chill Chats) to review Launch Pad.
  • Serve Jeremiah's products that consistently exceed expectations in image and quality.
  • Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge.
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Offer suggestions and guidance to guests pertaining to the menu and services.
  • Prepare all Jeremiah's Italian Ice products, which may require lifting 50lbs to shoulder height and intense manual labor.
  • Maintain a unit that is both fresh and clean.
  • Order product, stock, and organize the store for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of Limited Time Offers, specials, promotional items, catering orders, Rewards Program, and other operational knowledge.
  • Handle cash and other forms of payment.
  • Count drawers at open/close.
  • Ensure side work is complete.
  • Ensure the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy by following sanitation standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in cash handling.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs to shoulder height.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
