About the position

The Lead Service Sales Engineer at Eaton is responsible for selling electrical services to various sectors including industrial, utility, commercial, data center, and institutional customers. This role involves managing customer relationships, providing sales support, and offering technical expertise to distributors and contractors. The Lead Sales Engineer will also collaborate with Eaton's internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers in different market verticals and provide solutions to problems and pain points
• Maintain regional responsibility for all services orders activity in Eaton's market segments
• Train and empower channel partners and manufacturing agents to sell services to end customers and contractors
• Act as a subject matter expert on the services offering for Eaton's electrical sales organization
• Collect, analyze and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences and buying habits
• Prepare and present quotations to customers
• Develop market-based growth strategies to ensure sustained success of Eaton's services product lines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a minimum nine (9) years of electrical industry experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• Minimum five (5) years of field service, electrical industry sales and/or electrical engineering experience
• Possess a valid driver's license
