About the position

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Lead Compensation professional to oversee and enhance the administration of incentive plans for our Shipboard teams. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to document, validate, and improve bonus, commission, supplemental, and gratuity payment programs. This position is crucial in ensuring that our compensation strategies align with organizational goals and drive employee engagement. As a Lead in Shipboard Compensation, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the documentation and maintenance of incentive plans for Shipboard teams. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure that these plans are effectively aligned with the company's objectives. Analyzing compensation data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for program enhancement will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also lead the development and implementation of new incentive programs aimed at driving performance and enhancing employee engagement. Regular audits and validation checks will be conducted under your supervision to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. You will work closely with Finance to ensure correct processing and accurate data reporting for incentive plans. Additionally, you will provide strategic guidance to Operations in adapting incentive plans to meet changing business needs. Maintaining data for the annual risk assessment of incentive plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements will also fall under your purview. Staying informed about industry best practices and trends in compensation and incentive design will be essential for applying insights to program enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in compensation and incentive design and apply insights to program enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in compensation analysis with a proven track record in managing and leading initiatives is preferred.
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with sales plan administration is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
