About the position

The Lead Snowflake Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake, focusing on creating efficient data pipelines and database objects that support business processes. This role requires a strong background in software development, particularly with Snowflake and Python, to analyze business applications and perform data loading and unloading across various formats.

Responsibilities

• Create SQL Procedures in Snowflake
• Build Data Pipeline efficiently in a cost-optimizing & performance efficient way
• Perform Data loading and unloading of different formats such as CSV, JSON, VARIANT
• Create database objects that represent and support business processes
• Analyze Business Applications without dependency
• Perform Python Programming for development within Snowflake writing UDF's/UDTF

Requirements

• Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in Software Development leveraging Snowflake and Python
• Snowflake Certified highly preferred
• Expertise in Snowflake DB and its various architecture principles, capabilities
• Usage of Snowflake Functionalities such as Streams, Tasks, Time Travel
• Experience with data warehousing, data architecture, ETL data pipeline and/or data engineering environments at enterprise scale that are built on Snowflake
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - Git, Mercurial, SVN
• Knowledge of SDLC, Testing & CI/CD aspects such as Jenkins, BB, JIRA
