About the position

The Lead Software Developer role is a hands-on position focused on guiding technical direction and best practices for complex software solutions. The individual will be responsible for migrating existing on-premise applications to cloud-native architectures, particularly utilizing Azure services. Strong consultative and communication skills are essential as the role involves collaboration with various stakeholders. The position requires deep experience in software development, particularly in cloud methodologies and full-stack development, with an emphasis on backend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define best practices for complex software solutions.
• Develop migration strategies for existing on-premise applications to cloud-native architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical direction.
• Lead design and development efforts in Azure cloud environments.
• Create proof of concepts based on application infrastructure requirements.
• Implement solutions using modern application architecture and cloud-native technologies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
• Guide onsite and offsite teams in task planning and execution.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development across various projects.
• Strong experience in cloud methodologies, particularly with Azure.
• Significant experience in design and development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline architecture and microservices.
• Proficient in C#/.NET/.NET Core software development in an enterprise environment.
• Strong API experience, including defining specifications and integrating with third-party applications.
• Experience with SQL Server and understanding of front-end technologies like Angular.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in Technical Design/Lead/Software Architect roles.
• Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
