About the position

The Lead Software Developer at ManTech is responsible for overseeing the engineering team and delivering high-quality technical solutions. This role involves making informed product decisions based on extensive knowledge of data pipeline techniques, API integration, and cloud security. The Lead Software Developer will design and develop cloud-based software solutions that process data from various sources and contribute to predictive modeling. Additionally, this position requires mentoring and supervising project staff, ensuring collaboration among software developers.

Responsibilities

• Make product decisions based on knowledge of data pipeline techniques and issues.
• Lead and direct the Engineering Team to deliver technical solutions.
• Design and develop cloud-based software solutions for data ingestion and processing.
• Contribute to solutions that provide predictive models with raw data.
• Supervise and mentor subordinate project staff and collaborate with other software developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related discipline.
• Seven or more years of relevant experience in software development.
• Experience leading a software development team.
• Hold one of the specified certifications within 6 months of starting the role.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Software Development or related discipline.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Relevant industry standard certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert.
