There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The R&D team at Bright Machines is at the forefront of defining and implementing systems that enable Software Defined Manufacturing. Our intelligent and cloud-connected automation solutions, along with our software applications, are deployed in factories to automate the assembly of critical components necessary for building modern AI-Factories. We support manufacturing operations for some of the biggest names in the industry. Our integrated solution comprises both on-premises infrastructure, including a full network stack (with switches, routers, and firewalling), and cloud-native software applications that run both on-premises and in the cloud to operate and monitor robotic assembly lines. In this role, you will collaborate directly with the R&D, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to develop and operate a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud service providers. You will also work on cloud-native applications to deploy and operate mission-critical automation solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and standard software toolsets. You will collaborate with application teams to define cloud architecture, strategy, and best practices. Additionally, you will design and implement a suite of business intelligence automation-line monitoring applications. This involves working closely with our talented Automation Core and Automation Application teams to design and implement the business logic that powers our cloud-first monitoring and performance applications. You will manage continuous improvements and feature implementations in partnership with our Product Managers and Product Owners, and you should have familiarity with CI/CD tools. Security and compliance are critical aspects of this role. You will ensure that end-to-end designs adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001. This includes implementing and managing security controls, observability, monitoring, and logging to protect cloud resources, as well as conducting regular security assessments and audits. Finally, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies for scalability, performance optimization, and cost management. This includes monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements, as well as establishing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
