About the position

As a Lead Software Engineer (React) at JPMorgan Chase within the API Marketplace team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Make significant contributions to designing and building scalable and performant front-end solutions using TypeScript and React.
• Collaborate with other teams in API Marketplace to understand requirements and manage dependencies.
• Advocate for high standards and best practices to maintain code quality.
• Lead and provide constructive feedback to teammates, fostering a strong engineering culture.
• Develop testable code built for scalability, reliability, and resilience.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in React JS.
• Strong engineering mindset with the ability to solve complex problems elegantly.
• Ability to thrive in an environment of uncertainty and rapid changes.
• Collaborative experience as a team player in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior AWS experience with certification in at least one development path.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot.
