About the position

The Lead Automation Engineer at Converse will co-lead a global engineering team focused on building new automation solutions and supporting existing capabilities. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver automation products that align with the company's long-term strategy. The position emphasizes the importance of fluency in technology and the ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead a global engineering team to build and support automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to identify new automation opportunities.
  • Translate business problems into technical solutions and deliver work with the engineering team.
  • Coach the engineering team to deliver best-in-class solutions aligned with governance frameworks.
  • Triage production support issues and reduce technical debt to increase engineering capacity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably with PEGA or similar workflow automation software and Robotic Process Automation tools.
  • Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and best practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, monitor, and control engineering delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
