About the position

The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for the development of software products, focusing on enhancing product quality throughout the software development life cycle. This role involves mentoring other Software Engineers and managing complex projects that require extensive knowledge of industry practices. The Lead Software Engineer collaborates across teams to influence outcomes and ensures the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development of software products and improve overall product quality.
  • Manage processes, projects, or products to enhance efficiency within the organization.
  • Influence outcomes in cross-functional settings.
  • Design and develop solutions that meet quality standards and reliability specifications.
  • Ensure comparison of tasks and quality of work, supporting peers to deliver consistently.
  • Identify gaps between system components and deliver solutions.
  • Implement methods for managing and maintaining software development environments.
  • Develop actionable insights from analyzing software development trends and best practices.
  • Coach and train less experienced colleagues in techniques and processes.
  • Integrate the culture of intelligence, integrity, and initiative into team goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline with at least 7 years of related experience.
  • Strong system design experience.
  • Strong experience in object-oriented development.
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies.
  • Strong experience in data storage technologies.
  • Strong experience in performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong experience in DevOps and CI/CD technologies.
  • Strong experience in test automation and unit testing.
  • Strong experience in software security.
