About the position

The Lead Solution Architect for Salesforce at Cox Automotive will play a crucial role in defining and documenting the enterprise architecture solutions that support the Salesforce Enterprise Platform. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to create architectural visions, develop enterprise and business architectures, and ensure alignment with the overall enterprise strategy. The role emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in solutions provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall solution and guidance for enterprise architecture to effectively support the Salesforce platform
• Create solution options and solution architecture, adhering to architectural standards and the technology roadmap, and minimizing technical debt
• Design solutions that involve complex, multi-system integration, possibly across business units or domains
• Drive alignment between Enterprise Architecture, Technical Architecture, and business needs
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contribute to feature refinement, and deliver solutions incrementally and iteratively
• Provide guidance and oversight, ensuring the viability of proposed solutions and directing the appropriate approach throughout the project
• Monitor emerging technologies and stay updated with Salesforce best practices to continuously improve the solutions provided
• Establish strong relationships and demonstrate the ability to influence business outcomes with data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 6 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a master's degree and 4 years' experience, a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience, or 18 years' experience in a related field
• 3+ years with Salesforce architecture experience
• 5+ years working experience in full development life cycle and delivering applications and architecture services in a production environment
• 1+ years' cloud integration experience at large platform, enterprise-level, preferably AWS
• Experience presenting design concepts/strategy to key business leaders (up to C-level) stakeholders.
