About the position

The Lead Solution Architecture - Application Manager at AT&T is responsible for designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance customer experiences. This role involves collaborating with sales teams to assess customer requirements, analyzing business challenges, and creating comprehensive solutions that integrate seamlessly into customer environments. The position requires strong technical knowledge, customer interface skills, and the ability to document and present solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collect customer requirements and assess solution alternatives based on tradeoffs in cost, performance, reliability, and security.
• Partner with the sales team to recommend appropriate solutions for customers.
• Analyze customer business and network challenges to design comprehensive solutions.
• Manage solution design with internal and external suppliers to meet customer needs.
• Document solutions in proposals and present them to customers at various levels.
• Maintain industry knowledge to advise on technical trends and apply them to solution development.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or software engineering role.
• Experience in database solutioning including architecture, warehousing, and processing.
• Familiarity with hybrid tables, external tables, and Iceberg tables.
• Proficiency in SQL API and Snowpark API.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow modules, especially HRSD.
• Experience in cloud computing, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of continuous data pipelines and protection.
• Experience with native app frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
• Knowledge of connectors and drivers.
• Experience with supported cloud regions and platforms.
• Ability to create cloud agnostic solutions.
• Understanding of concurrency and workload isolation.
• Advanced SQL skills, Python, Java/JDBC, and data warehousing/data modeling concepts.
• Boomi skill set, including Boomi certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of connectors, data processing, and low code programming in Boomi.
• Experience with data mapping and integration best practices.
• Familiarity with API, SFTP, HTTP(s) protocols and their interaction.
• Knowledge of OAUTH and other authentication methods.
