About the position

The SAP Retail Operations Lead at Under Armour plays a crucial role in supporting global retail processes through collaboration with business leaders and technology teams. This position focuses on defining, developing, and implementing innovative solutions related to SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) and SAP Fiori, ensuring that deliverables meet business requirements while adhering to architectural standards. The role involves leading projects, improving processes, and providing expert guidance in SAP functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead implementation of improvements using knowledge of SAP capabilities, industry practices, and Under Armour business processes
• Interpret business requirements and communicate possible technical solutions to non-technical audiences
• Act as project lead or workstream lead for large strategic projects, owning success through all stages of the project lifecycle
• Become an expert in business processes and industry best practices within the area of responsibility
• Leverage knowledge of solutions and business processes to assist level 1 / 2 support teams as needed
• Build relationships with business leaders to improve collaboration and become a trusted partner
• Provide leadership and guidance for consultants and other teammates during project efforts
• Support prioritization process for smaller, non-project level initiatives
• Partner with cross-team leads to develop and implement integrated solutions with various applications or external partners
• Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies impacting the SAP retail area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience OR typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, analyze and propose solutions
• Exceptional team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into business terms
• Hands-on experience in multiple full life-cycle SAP ERP project implementations or major cross-functional projects
• 5+ years experience in a leadership role such as manager, team lead, or project lead
• Expert ability in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP CAR and Fiori functionalities

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution), FMS (Fashion Management Solution), and/or S/4 Fashion
• Proven experience working as part of a global team
