About the position

The Lead Solutions Architect at Humana is responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that address business needs within the Digital Health Platform. This role involves collaborating with user groups to solve complex problems using various technologies, including hardware, software, and databases. The architect will build scalable and secure microservices, integrate systems, and advise executives on functional strategies, all while ensuring minimal supervision and exercising independent judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Translates business needs into technical systems solutions.
  • Builds digital, omni-channel experiences following MACH (Microservices, API First, Cloud Native and Headless) architectural pattern.
  • Builds solutions with great visibility (Logging, Monitoring and Tracing) into the system.
  • Builds highly scalable, secure microservices in a cloud agnostic way.
  • Ensures security within digital experiences utilizing authentication and authorization/access management.
  • Integrates hardware, software, and network interfaces to form a system.
  • Advises executives to develop functional strategies on significant matters.
  • Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8 years of progressive information technology experience related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field.
  • Prior project lead experience.
  • Strong expertise in building omni-channel experiences following MACH architectural pattern.
  • Strong expertise in building solutions with great visibility into the system.
  • Strong expertise in software development and cloud infrastructure blueprinting/provisioning.
  • Experience working with and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong expertise in UI frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, and/or React.
  • Strong expertise in mobile frameworks like React Native and/or Flutter.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong expertise in back-end technologies including .NET, Java, and/or Node.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and/or Docker.
  • Strong expertise in OAuth2.0 and/or OIDC, including authentication and authorization/access management.

Nice-to-haves
