About the position

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with these databases, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop SQL databases and writing applications to interact with SQL databases
• Perform database maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate with other team members to design and optimize complex SQL queries
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL programming
• Experience with Hadoop, RESTful services, Apache Hive, Linked data, AWS, Python, Big Data, Spark, and Talend is a plus
• Ability to analyze large datasets
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Informatica (1 year preferred)
• Experience with Data warehouse (1 year preferred)
