About the position

The Lead Supply & Inventory Planning Manager at NIKE, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the planning performance and inventory health of a designated consumer segment. This role involves collaborating with various internal and cross-functional teams to ensure effective supply chain operations, driving inventory health, and managing communication regarding delivery expectations and risks. The position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the planning performance and inventory health of an assigned consumer segment.
  • Lead monthly inventory and supply reviews, including issue escalation and storytelling to leadership and stakeholder teams.
  • Conduct analysis to proactively identify challenges and manage communication, recommendations, and execution of supply shaping activities.
  • Drive multi-season KPI reviews across key franchises or classifications to influence marketplace decisions and future inventory investment.
  • Proactively drive actions to maintain a healthy inventory position in the assigned business segment.
  • Leverage multiple reports and dashboards to review key metrics and escalate issues that may cause unfulfilled demand or delays.
  • Report and communicate delivery expectations, risks, and opportunities to territory teams and consumer planning teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
  • Advanced planning expertise with a clear understanding of the E2E Planning Ecosystem, including Retail Sales/Demand, Supply/Inventory, Revenue/Margin, and Operational Planning.
  • Strong understanding of product, merchandising, or consumer code processes with the ability to interpret consumer trends into effective plans.
  • Experience in assessing and mitigating risks and liabilities that could disrupt market demand fulfillment.
  • Superior interpersonal, influencing, and facilitation skills to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
