About the position

L3Harris is seeking a highly skilled Integration & Test Integrated Product Team Lead with extensive knowledge of Radar Systems and project management expertise. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful integration and testing of electromechanical systems, from the design phase through to development, documentation, installation, and final sell-off of the completed system. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing integration plans and procedures that encompass hardware, software, and facilities, ensuring that all components are electrically and physically compatible to meet program objectives regarding technical specifications, schedule, and cost. The Integration & Test Lead will oversee the creation of system-level test programs, plans, specifications, and procedures, ensuring that customer acceptance criteria are met. This includes conducting requirements analysis to identify testability issues and leading test working groups and readiness reviews. The role requires direct interaction with program management, Chief System Engineer (CSE), and customers to coordinate all integration verification planning. The candidate will also be accountable for top-level planning of assembly, integration efforts, and related verification activities, ensuring that all integration and test efforts align with program goals. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Integration & Test Lead will play a crucial role in troubleshooting test failures, developing test configuration details, and implementing test procedures. The candidate will be expected to identify risks and opportunities for specific test activities and work collaboratively with systems and design engineering teams to optimize test capabilities early in the development lifecycle. A solid understanding of various testing tools and techniques is essential, and the candidate may serve as a subject matter expert in specific testing areas. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for system level integration and/or test, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives.
  • Responsible for test and/or integration of electromechanical systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and sell-off of the completed system.
  • Develop and implement integration plans and procedures for hardware, software, and facilities.
  • Ensure physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration.
  • Develop and implement system level test programs, plans, specifications, procedures and customer acceptance.
  • Plan and lead test working groups and test readiness reviews.
  • Conduct testability and producibility analyses and reviews.
  • Interface directly with program management, CSE & customer regarding all Integration verification planning.
  • Accountable to the program manager & CSE for top level planning of all assembly & integration efforts & related verification activities.
  • Create initial, top level test flow & test approach.
  • Develop System Level I&T Plans for products and programs.
  • Collaborate with Systems to define Requirements Verification Matrices (RVMs).
  • Support and oversee specific test events related to the overall system and various products.
  • Troubleshoot failures of the tests based on test plan inputs provided by the SEIT lead and test architect.
  • Responsible for completion of specific test configuration details, test procedure development, implementation & checkout of STE, test sets & test set software checkout, analysis tools evaluation.
  • May be responsible for TRR planning, execution and follow up actions.
  • Direct test activities, including supporting shift planning.
  • Identify risks & opportunities for specific test activities.
  • Work with system engineering & design to optimize test capabilities early in the development life cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • 7+ years experience with high-speed digital and RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • 7+ years experience in RF or Digital engineering (MW MCAs, FPGAs, CCAs, PWBs, etc.) and troubleshooting techniques, tools, and process.
  • 5+ years experience supporting manufacturing production of electronic devices, preferably in the Radar Systems industry.
  • 3+ years experience as a Technical Team Lead / Integrated Project Team Lead (IPTL).
  • Prior experience generating presentations and briefing internal and external customers.
  • Prior experience executing throughout the full System lifecycle including requirements flow down and allocation, design, development, test, and sell-off.
  • Active US DOD SECRET security clearance.
