About the position

L3Harris is seeking an Integration & Test Integrated Product Team Lead with extensive knowledge of Radar Systems and a strong background in project management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful integration and testing of electromechanical systems, overseeing the entire process from system design through to development, documentation, installation, and final sell-off of the completed system. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing integration plans and procedures for hardware, software, and facilities, ensuring that all components are electrically and physically compatible to meet program objectives regarding technical specifications, schedule, and cost. The Integration & Test Lead will play a critical role in the planning and execution of system-level test programs, including the creation of specifications, procedures, and customer acceptance criteria. This position requires direct interaction with program management, customer representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure that all integration verification planning is aligned with project goals. The Lead will also be accountable for the top-level planning of assembly and integration efforts, collaborating with Systems Engineering to define Requirements Verification Matrices (RVMs) that balance capabilities, cost, and efficiency of verification methods. In addition to integration responsibilities, the role includes troubleshooting test failures, developing test configurations, and ensuring compliance with L3Harris policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various testing tools and techniques, and will be expected to identify risks and opportunities for specific test activities, working closely with system engineering and design teams to optimize test capabilities early in the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for system level integration and/or test, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program objectives.
  • Develop and implement integration plans and procedures for hardware, software, and facilities.
  • Ensure seamless interface between design and production of systems through first article product integration.
  • Conduct requirements analysis for testability issues and develop system level test programs, plans, specifications, and procedures.
  • Plan and lead test working groups and test readiness reviews, conducting analyses and reviews for testability and producibility.
  • Interface directly with program management, CSE, and customers regarding integration verification planning.
  • Participate in program status meetings, reviews, and anomaly investigations.
  • Create initial top-level test flow and test approach, developing System Level I&T Plans for products and programs.
  • Collaborate with Systems to define Requirements Verification Matrices (RVMs).
  • Support and oversee specific test events related to the overall system and various products.
  • Troubleshoot failures of tests based on inputs from the SEIT lead and test architect.
  • Develop test procedure details, implementation, and checkout of STE, test sets, and analysis tools evaluation.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for specific test activities and work with system engineering to optimize test capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience, or 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years experience with high-speed digital and RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • 7+ years experience in RF or Digital engineering and troubleshooting techniques, tools, and processes.
  • 5+ years experience supporting manufacturing production of electronic devices, preferably in the Radar Systems industry.
  • 3+ years experience as a Technical Team Lead / Integrated Project Team Lead (IPTL).
  • Prior experience generating presentations and briefing internal and external customers.
  • Active US DOD SECRET security clearance.

  • Prior experience as a cost account manager (CAM) or similar role responsible for managing time and labor budgets.
