About the position

The Lead Systems Engineer for Systems Integration and Test at L3Harris Technologies is responsible for leading and coordinating system integration and testing efforts in a fast-paced environment. This role involves developing engineering solutions, writing specifications, and executing test plans while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will excel in project leadership, time management, and proactive communication to positively impact the company's success.

Responsibilities

• Develop new systems designs and write systems specifications.
• Perform system level tests and execute systems level test plans and procedures.
• Conduct interoperability test procedures on various avionics equipment.
• Analyze data from lab and flight tests to identify trends and validate test results.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure simulations meet necessary requirements and constraints.
• Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret functional tests for new or modified software features.
• Investigate and support troubleshooting of test setup and execution problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 9 or more years of directly related professional experience, preferably in the aviation avionics industry.
• Experience in developing and executing tests in a complex system.
• Experience in writing systems validation and verification procedures.
• Must be a US citizen.
