About the position

The Lead Systems Engineer for Systems Integration and Test at L3Harris is responsible for leading and coordinating system integration and testing efforts in a fast-paced environment. This role involves developing engineering solutions, writing specifications, executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. The engineer will analyze data from tests, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with customers and team members to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop new systems designs and write systems specifications.
• Perform system level tests and develop test plans and procedures.
• Conduct interoperability test procedures on various avionics equipment.
• Analyze data from lab and flight tests to identify trends and validate results.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure simulations meet requirements.
• Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret functional tests for software features.
• Investigate and support troubleshooting of test setup and execution problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 9 or more years of directly related professional experience, preferably in the aviation avionics industry.
• Experience in developing and executing tests in complex systems.
• Experience in writing systems validation and verification procedures.
• Must be a US citizen.
