About the position

The Lead Systems Engineer at Humana is responsible for overseeing multiple systems and projects, focusing on policy management, compliance, and automation across mobile and Mac technologies. This role is crucial for implementing business continuity and evaluating system security and privacy across various lines of business, particularly in Home Health and Primary Care. The engineer will collaborate with teams across Architecture, Product Management, Support Services, and Experience & Design to enhance mobile and Mac solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple systems and projects related to policy management, compliance, and automation.
  • Implement business continuity plans and evaluate system security and privacy for mobile and Mac technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow mobile and Mac solutions across different lines of business.
  • Design and implement scalable management systems leveraging Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or similar EMM solutions.
  • Create strategic roadmaps and engineering artifacts for technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Collaboration tools like Office 365 and Teams in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering ITIL experience in design, analysis, configuration, and maintenance of complex systems software solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable management systems using Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or similar EMM solutions.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills for technology strategy discussions.
  • Extensive knowledge in managing large, complex initiatives with accountability for deadlines and value propositions.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, risk management, and information security processes including SOC, CIS, NIST, HIPAA, and PCI.
  • Experience creating strategic roadmaps and reference architecture.

Nice-to-haves

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of combined hands-on engineering and architecture experience with public and private cloud solutions.
