The Lead Infant Teacher at Bright Star Academy plays a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young children. Responsibilities

• Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Monitor children's progress and development

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development/CDA Certified preferred
• 1 year prior experience working in a certified child development center (2 years preferred)
• Prior experience with the assigned age group
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
• Ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
