About the position

The Lead Technical Product Manager at Humana is a pivotal role within the Enterprise API product team, responsible for overseeing Humana's Unified API Catalog. This position is integral to the development and continuous enhancement of the API catalog strategy, guiding the organization towards the adoption of a centralized API Catalog and developer tooling. The Lead Product Manager will leverage their expertise to facilitate the discovery, design, and implementation of future functionalities that enable users to easily understand, gain insights, and integrate with Humana's APIs. This role requires a strong ability to navigate a complex organizational structure and influence various teams by clearly articulating the product and architectural vision, strategy, and value. In this role, the Lead Technical Product Manager will be directly accountable for creating presentations, narratives, strategies, and product/platform roadmaps related to Humana's Enterprise API Catalog and Integration tooling. They will participate in and be accountable for the overall strategy and direction of Humana's Enterprise API portfolio, serving as a thought leader across multiple enterprise, business, and IT segments. The position also involves analyzing, assessing, and auditing Enterprise API content to ensure alignment with business and regulatory standards, proactively identifying issues, and collaborating with cross-functional technology and business teams, including legal, compliance, and privacy teams, to define enterprise API requirements. Additionally, the Lead Technical Product Manager will manage the API Catalog backlog, articulating value and roadmap with stakeholders, and guiding the teams responsible for execution and delivery. This role is essential for ensuring that Humana's API offerings are robust, compliant, and effectively meet the needs of users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Directly accountable for creating presentations, narratives, strategies and product/platform roadmaps related to Humana's Enterprise API Catalog and Integration tooling
  • Participation and accountability in the overall strategy and direction of Humana's Enterprise API portfolio and deeply involved thought leader within multiple enterprise, business, and IT segments
  • Aiding in analyzing, assessing and auditing Enterprise API content in assuring alignment to business and regulatory standards
  • Proactively detecting issues and identifying solutions with directly responsible Individuals
  • Collaborate directly with various cross-functional technology & business teams, legal, compliance and privacy teams to provide recommendations and define enterprise API requirements
  • Directly accountable for creation and management of the API Catalog backlog, articulating value and roadmap with stakeholders, and guiding the teams accountable for execution and delivery.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical experience, or equivalent and 2+ years of project leadership experience.
